The Keiss Baptist Church Youth Club is on Friday nights in Keiss Primary School. Primary 1 to 3 age group from 6:30 to 7:30pm Primary 4 to 7 age group from 7:30 to 8:30pm High School age group from 8:30 to 9:30pm
There is a weekly fee of 50p week that is used solely to sponsor a wee girl in India, named Bhavitha, who lives in the orphanage run by India Village Ministries. Everything else at the youth club is free, including refreshments. For further information contact Kenny Cormack (01955 631329).
For the primary school age groups the youth clubs include various activities such as run-around games, crafts, quizzes, treasure hunts, football, uni-hock, rounders, mini-Olympics, etc. The high school age group boys mostly play football. The girls have a bit more variety with crafts, singing, dance lessons plus demonstrations on fashion design, health & beauty. We always take time to share God’s Word and to pray for the young people and their families as we believe that having a relationship with Jesus Christ is the key factor to a successful life.
Other activities that the high school age group have been involved with have ranged from football tournaments to an Eden court street dance project.
